SALES POLICY
Closed Rabbitry Policy:
Our Bunny Barn is a closed rabbitry, which means when it is time to pick out your bunny to reserve, you can choose from the photos, and when picking up your bunny, we do not allow anyone into the space our bunnies live in. This is mainly for the safety of our bunnies, risk of disease being spread to our bunnies, risk of injuries, and because we often have expecting mothers or brand new babies and we don’t want to stress them out. Also, we’re on a large chicken farm and have to follow strict biosecurity precautions for the safety of our flocks. I’m happy to provide photos and videos, including updates after you reserve your bunny & I do update my social media often.
Purchasing a bunny from us:
-We do require potential bunny families to please fill out our adoption application. It helps us easily approve homes and stay organized. It also lets me keep your contact information in a safe place incase we lose touch (ex. If I get locked out of my Instagram and that’s the only way we’ve been communicating) before your bunny is picked up.

-At 4-5 weeks old, we will confirm what gender the babies are, that they’re looking healthy, and allow the reservation process to begin.
-Bunnies will be available first to our waitlisters, who I will contact in order I recieved their application with the option of reserving a bunny, then on a first come first served basis in order I receive an application and deposit for your bunny.

-To keep things moving smoothly, if I don’t hear back from waitlister within a few hours, I’ll move to next in line. If I hear no reply back in 24hrs you’ll be taken off my waitlist and you’ll need to refill the application to be added again in the future.
-We require a non refundable $100 deposit to hold a bunny to ensure the buyer is serious and has researched and is committed to their bunny. After reserving the bunny, we will confirm that we have received the deposit, and the bunny will be no longer available for others. We do not give refunds if you change your mind or are not able to take a bunny anymore after you put a deposit down, as we have invested time into reserving the bunny to you and turned other people away from reserving it. Please, please confirm with landlords and other members of your family and household that you are indeed allowed a bunny as a pet in your home before purchasing a bunny.
-Deposit can’t be transferred to another bunny.
-The rest of the non refundable payment is due at pickup

-Ready to go dates will be clearly marked on our available bunnies page. You’ll be made aware of these dates at reservation time and if these dates don’t work for you please let us know ASAP and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. We do have flexibility but prefer bunnies to go home within about a week of that date unless other arrangements have been made with us.
-If we have any concerns at all about a bunnies health, growth, eating habits, etc we may ask to hang onto them for an extra week just so we can monitor and make sure they are indeed healthy before they go home.
-If any health concerns pop up before a bunny goes home, buyer will absolutely be informed immediately and we’ll refund their deposit if they’d prefer not to take that bunny due to a health issue.
-If you no show for your bunny pickup more than twice with no notice, or no show at all without any communication for 48 hours, your bunny will be resold and no refund will be given.
-All of our bunnies go home dewormed, with trimmed nails, and with a care package that includes a bunny care guide, a birth certificate, both of which will be sent digitally, (or pedigree for show/breeding homes pedigrees will receive a printed and digital copy), transition feed pellets, litter pellets, and hay to help you get started with your new pet.
-Pedigrees may only be sold to approved breeding/show homes. If we have any concerns about breeding practices we can refuse the sale of a bunny and a pedigree to that home. Please note that every one of our breeding rabbits is purebred and fully pedigreed. We specialize in and only breed Holland Lops.
Important to note:
-no refunds will be given after a bunny leaves our farm. We will however refund if anything happens while a bunny is in our care, or if a bunny is misgendered and it’s caught before it leaves our rabbitry.
-we can’t 100% guarantee rabbit sex, although we check multiple times determining the sex of baby rabbits is tricky and mistakes can happen, if it’s important to you I recommend confirming gender before bunny leaves our rabbitry
-All of the bunnies we sell are healthy to the best of our knowledge, in the event something happens to your bunny in our care we would work with you and find a solution, either a refund on your deposit or another bunny. After you bring your bunny home it along with any veterinary care and expenses are your responsibility.
-After 3 failed attempts at bunny pickups or in the event of a no contact no show to pickup your bunny we’ll assume you’re no longer committed to your bunny and find it another suitable home.
-Our rabbits are individually evaluated and priced based on several factors, prices usually range from $100-300.
-All of our rabbits are purebred & pedigreed. Pedigrees will only be sold to APPROVED breeders and never to pet homes, so please be upfront if you plan on breeding your rabbit and about your breeding practices.
-If you’re no longer able to keep your rabbit please reach out and we’ll take it back and find suitable home. If you’re able to find a good home on your own of course you’re welcome to do that but we’d always prefer to take a rabbit back into our care over it being abandoned at a shelter or in a field. If we don’t have space we may just ask you provide a cage if available. Please note no refund will be offered for returned bunny.
